Did you see Britney Spears, Madonna and Christina Aguilera play tonsil hockey at the MTV Video Music Awards? Did you know that Britney's video for Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know was so steamy that her mom made her cut parts out? We'd bet money you've seen Brit - at least once - steaming up your TV in a short skirt, half shirt or skin colored outfit. We can't begin to imagine what the recently unmarried Ms. Spears has got going on for her new tour, dubbed The Onyx Hotel Tour.


Do Female Pop Artists Sell Music With Sex?
If Britney's an music artist why is she spending so much time promoting her sexuality rather than her music? Is Britney Spears using sex to sell her tunes? Kinda seems like it, doesn't it? In all fairness, she's not the only one to do it(*cough* Christina *cough*) And, there are probably a lot of peeps out there who have bought an album because they thought the singer was cute, rather than talented. (Kidzworld gets a heck of a lot of mail about how cute Benji and Joel Madden are, but not as much about how great Good Charlotte's songs are). Still, Good Charlotte isn't out there, making out with each other and flashing their booties - so why do Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears feel like they have to do it? Or more importantly, why do they want to do it?

Why Not Be Like Mandy Moore?
Think about it - does seeing Britney make out with Madonna make you think "Gee Britney is a really great singer." I doubt it. Does seeing Christina Aguilera roll around on a wet floor with her butt hanging out of her pants make you think the song sounds better? Again, doubt it. In fact, don't you think that these kind of publicity stunts make you think less of the artists pulling them? I know I have a higher opinion of Mandy
